NERC Data Services and Research |
 | The NERC Data Grid is a federated data infrastructure that delivers a variety of data-related services to NERC's scientists as well as the international scientific community. Its expertise spans the entire data management lifecycle from cradle to grave. |

The NERC Data Discovery Service allows you to find data resources held within the NERC Data Grid (NDG) Catalogue. The catalogue is populated with 'discovery' metadata (information about datasets) harvested on a regular basis from the Designated Data Centres of NERC as well as other providers in the national and international scientific community. |

The Vocabulary Service provides access to controlled lists of standardised terms that cover a broad spectrum of disciplines of relevance to the oceanographic and wider scientific community. |
